Ricardo Fumanal was born in Huesca, Spain (1984).
He studied at the art school in Lleida where he specialised in graphic and advertising design. His career took him to Barcelona, where he worked as a graphic designer. After collaborating with a number of studios and art directors, he focused on producing illustrations in varying media and formats. These include work for magazines such as Dazed&Confused, German Glamour, El País/EP3, Marie Claire, Hercules, Metal, Apartamento, Wallpaper*, Nylon Guys, and a great many covers for literary review Leer.
He now lives and works in London where his client list has increased to include Lou Dalton, Revlon, Mango, Fred Perry, Richard Nichol, Vogue Hommes Japan, The Daily Telegraph, L'Officiel Hommes Italia, Madame Figaro, GQ Style and Apartamento.
